WWII Pacific Dogfight – the Corsair vs. the Japanese Kate Torpedo Bomber (replica)!
The enemy plane bounces our Corsair on takeoff – and the dogfight begins! The Kate will take off first and go off station while the announcer gives a brief history on the aircraft. Meanwhile, the Corsair will taxi out and give the announcer time to introduce one of the most popular fighter planes of WWII…right when the announcer finishes and the Corsair starts to take-off – the Kate pounces! …and the battle begins! Our hero prevails and the Kate goes down in smoke. The Corsair celebrates its victory with a high energy aerobatic act.

NACA P-63 Kingcobra
The Dixie Wing p-63A Kingcobra is an original NACA TEST airplane. The National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA) was a U.S. federal agency founded on March 3, 1915, to undertake, promote, and institutionalize aeronautical research. On October 1, 1958, the agency was dissolved, and its assets and personnel transferred to the newly created National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). Book this rare warbird and honor the history of Test pilots and the test bureaus that tremendously contributed to the advancement of aviation.

C-47 “Placid Lassie”
Marketing the WWII combat veteran C-47 “Placid Lassie” – “Placid Lassie” participated in the D-Day invasion of Europe and was utilized in the Market Garden operation in Holland. Jumpers Ready. You provide the Jumpers or we can do it for you. WWII Airborne reenactors available.
– The SBD-5 Dauntless with its dive brakes on display (one of only two still flying) and Japanese (replica) Kate torpedo bomber are both popular as static displays and will have docents with them throughout your event to engage the crowd. All of our aircraft are available for start.
